Описание

Tap Tap Revenge: Coldplay Edition (also known as Coldplay Revenge) is a rhythm music game developed and released by Tapulous in April 2009. It was a tie-in promotion to their then-last album, Viva la Vida or Death And All His Friends from 2008. Following that in mind, the game follows the same rules as others entries in the TTR series, at this time with only two main titles around, with a couple of artists-specific entries. At that time, those titles didn't have any special gameplay features (no landscape in boss tracks, for example), and not all songs are present in all FIVE difficulties) Since the game is build with the TTR2 engine, it also includes a fifth difficulty, Kids, which is basically the Easy difficulty with no arrows, you can touch anywhere in the screen to get the taps, and the boss track is unlocked there since the beginning. There's also a two players mode, which is played in with both in the same phone playing in split screen. The game first presented a total of 11 songs, taken from all their albums at the time, and a big focus on Viva la Vida and it's companion EP Prospekt's March. Those songs are (and difficulties where they are): * From 'Parachutes': - "Yellow" (Kids/Easy, Medium, Hard) - "Shiver" (Hard, Extreme) * From 'A Rush of Blood to the Head': - "Clocks" (Kids/Easy, Medium, Hard) - "In My Place" (Medium, Hard) * From 'X&Y': - "Speed of Sound" (Kids/Easy, Medium, Hard) - "Fix You" (Medium, Hard) * From 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends': - "Lost!" (Hard, Extreme) - "Viva la Vida" (#Hard, Extreme) * From 'Prospekt's March' - "Lovers in Japan" [Osaka Sun Mix] (#Easy, Medium, Extreme) - "Life in Technicolor II (#Normal, Hard) In some point at the end of the year, the game was updated with the addition of two songs (something really rare in these artist-specific apps), which are: - "The Scientist" from 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' (Kids/Easy, Hard) - "Violet Hill" from 'Viva la Vida...' (Kids/Easy, Hard) --- #. From the initial tracklist, four songs were selected as Boss Tracks in a respective difficulty, which are: - "Lovers in Japan" in Kids/Easy - "Life in Technicolor II" in Normal - "Viva la Vida" in Hard - And as a big final boss, in Extreme is the seven minutes long remix by Thin White Dude of "Viva la Vida" These are blocked, and you'll play and complete in 85% or above in accuracy half of the songs in each dificulty in order to unlock them (aside for Kids which, as stated before, is unlocked right at the beginning) --- * In the download you'll see two IPAs, one is the original 1.1 version, which had all of the previously mentioned stuff. The second one (the "Edited") is a little modification I made, which replace the "Clocks" track from the original with the one present in the export version for TTR2/3, that includes an Extreme difficulty track for the song. It also had the icon replaced with the one showcased in iTunes, mainly for a better look in iOS devices with 7.0 and above. To play, just take a jailbroken iDevice, install one of the two versions, and start playing :) The game was tested with an iPhone 3G with iOS 6.1.3, and an iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2. While I can confirm that the game can be played at full in both devices, in 7.0 the game had a bit of issues related to the pause, as tried to do it didn't shows the messages with the options to exit and resume the run, leaving the game locked. This error is coming from the TTR2 engine, both the main titles and the artist-specific apps built around that same engine had the same problem. --- That's it, Enjoy! --- As a side note, i'm well aware that Coldplay receive more songs during the rest of the TTR lifespan, but since those tracks are much more advance in the maps department, and also because of how the Themes works here (one theme folder with fourth different variants for each album), I decide to left out those songs from this upload. Those are also coming from the Mylo Xyloto album, so I can be seeing out of place.
